Christmas at Groombridge Farm Shop
Christmas has arrived at Groombridge Farm Shop. Come and visit the shop for some festive cheer and to enjoy a coffee and cake. To showcase some of the fantastic Christmas produce this year we will be holding a tasting event on Friday 24th November from 9.30am to 2.30pm
The fantastic suppliers joining us this year include:
- Baketastic, with their flavour packed Christmas cake and other seasonal baked goods including a gingerbread latte loaf, orange, raspberry and white chocolate loaf, spiced orange cake, Baileys rocky road and a stollen loaf cake.
- Haelu, who produce non alcoholic drinks, will be coming to share some delicious drinks for this Christmas season
- Sugar and Spice will have a variety of chutneys to try including their popular Rudolf Reward and Santa’s Favourite chutney. They will also have Christmas puddings to sample
- In addition, we will be offering samples of a variety of cheeses and crackers as well as some of our local alcohol suppliers.
We will also be holding a raffle in support of our local food bank https://www.nourishcommunityfoodbank.org.uk/. The cost of living crisis has had a huge detrimental impact on the lives of so many people in our community with food poverty on the rise. This year the food bank has received only a third of their usual food donations, and with a spike in demand for food over the festive period we are hoping to do all we can to support this incredible cause and ensure everyone can enjoy this holiday period. First prize in the raffle will be a Groombridge Farm Shop hamper and 2nd prize will be a large Chocolate Santa from STAS (shown below). We also have prizes donated from Haelu (non-alcoholic cocktails) and white wine from Sanden, Groombridge, Raffle tickets are £1, available now in the shop and will be drawn on Friday 22nd at 2pm.
We are now taking Christmas orders through the website, book your slot now to ensure you have everything you need this Christmas. Slots close at 4pm on the 10th of December. Paper order forms are available if you need them in our farm shop, just ask. We can help with hampers and gifts too!
